Hello again. I’m guessing you’re here because curious to know a little more about me.

Okay, here it goes:

I spent my childhood in Manila, my early adulthood in California, then the last few years in Amsterdam. What has that led to? A whole lot of identity-based confusion aside, it’s also given me a fairly unique perspective on culture, home, and what it means to belong. Along the way, I also learned to adapt to my environment, listen before speaking, and tailor ideas based on its distinct target audience.

Oh, and I got to shoot with some great clients along the way too.

This whole journey has taught me to follow my curiosity and let the achievements and accolades be mere by-products rather than goals. One such moment was when I had this itch to bring an idea to life. In 2018, I felt like I wanted to nudge culture towards having more open, introspective conversation. I took my documentary filmmaking experience, compiled all my favorite interview questions, and packaged it all in a neatly designed deck of cards. This led to the birth of So… Cards. This little germ of an idea turned into a product that’s sold tens of thousands of copies, a TEDx Talk, and countless conversations all over the globe.

These days, while I still hop around a lot but I’ve focused on three main subjects: artists, athletes, and activism. I’m not here to just shoot fancy frames and sprinkle in flashy transitions. I want to tell stories that actively contribute something of value to the community.

If this is something you’re into too, I’d love to meet, chat, and collaborate.
